Contract of Sale Introduction Contracts for the sale of goods are governed by the Sale of Goods Act 1930. The law covers to all of India, all transactions involving the sale of goods were governed by the Indian Contracts Act, 1872. In 1930 Sections 76 to 123 were replaced by the 1930 Act.
